EduPortal, VGG’s first “Built -for- Nigeria” solution can be regarded as the platform that helped conceive Venture Garden Nigeria and launched our full blown multi-sector Technology Group, late 2010.

Developed by VGG’s Software development team, Splashers Technologies in 2008 (when the conception of selling Technology to Nigeria officially began), Eduportal automates Academic and Administrative processes (Admissions, Registrations, Payments and Result Processing) for higher institutions. Shortly after development, while still serving all of its US customers, Splashers signed up of three (3) Institutions in Nigeria (Adamawa State University, Ahmadu Bello University teaching Hospital and Iree Polytechnic, Iree Osun state) on Eduportal.

In 2010/2011, barely two years after its development, the enormous opportunities and success potential of Eduportal was evident in the sign up by two of the top banks in Nigeria

– First Bank of Nigeria (FBN) and United Bank for Africa (UBA) to become Eduportal’s official resellers in tertiary Institutions around West Africa. Eduportal has since delivered on its potentials and proven to be a force to be reckoned with amongst its competitors while providing great returns for its bank partners – especially First Bank of Nigeria.

Currently boosting of 12 large institutions actively using its platform both in Nigeria and Ghana, Eduportal has processed over N9B in revenue and over 70,000 students currently use this application for their tuition payments, class registration, transcript processing and many more functions.
